Last weekend Annette and I sat around for quite some time in a Starbucks in the North of San Antonio off of 281. We started brainstorming and seeing what names we could generate in order to give our homestead a creative name. We tried acronyms, and keywords that we find close to our lives. Monkey was a keyword that we went around with numerous times. But in the end... we wanted a few things to ring true about our homestead name:
1. Had to be easy to pronounce.
2. Had to be easy to spell.
3. Had to be one word.
4. Had to be ambiguous.
5. Had to be relatively scarce on Google, don't worry it is.
So those guidelines and the town location of our property helped us to get to that name of Ecodale.
